The garden arboretum is located in West Henrietta, New York, a suburb of Rochester. Visits to the garden arboretum are on an appointment only basis.

- Famous for its annual Sakura Matsuri (Cherry Blossom Festival) in the Spring time, Brooklyn Botanic Garden has wide variety of Japanese cherry trees. Its Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden is one of the oldest and most visited Japanese-inspired gardens outside Japan.
